Same for my origin line...had the wrong URL recently. I had to get rid
of the DYN deal (wx1der.dyndns.org) as the updater client quit working.
Plus, the cost of that and the email forwarding deal was $300 a year.
Since Synchronet does both for free, it made perfect economic sense to
    go that route.

    Besides, I'm a "frugal cheapskate". <G>

I had wondered about then when trying to poll you recently. Found your system with the synchro.net extention and decided to try it and it worked out well for both telnet and FTN. Figured out it on my own. (quiet golf clap)

    Lolz. It can get expensive.

Awhile back, a user reported he couldn't get on with wx1der.dyndns.org
-- but when he used tbolt.synchro.net (especially with SyncTerm), it
worked. SyncTerm is my telnet client now...MTel won't enter a "Sysop
Password" on a Synchronet BBS, and on downloads, the time is in UTC
Time, not the prevailing local time.

    Besides, I'm a "frugal cheapskate". <G>

    Lolz. It can get expensive.

Looking back over the years, it's laughable now about all the money we
Sysops have spent on our BBS's.

I had used SyncTerm when I first started, yet, Netrunner is by far my
    favorite now.

And, it shouldn't kill us...unless we're online during a storm, with
