• SPAM: Re: [echoirlp] EchoIRLP Enable - Disable

    From David McAnally@432:1/101 to echoirlp@groups.io on Sat Mar 6 11:03:26 2021
There is not a configuration setting to do this. But commenting "$BIN/key" lines in these four script files will accomplish the same thing.

Swap or edit these files to comment the $BIN/key line so announcements are muted.
    Replace "$BIN/key" with "# $BIN/key"

    /home/EchoIRLP/scripts/echo_wavplay
    /home/EchoIRLP/scripts/echo_call
    /home/EchoIRLP/scripts/echo_call_conf
    /home/EchoIRLP/scripts/echo_failure

Note that welcome audio transmissions sent from the remote node or
    conference will still be heard.

Is there a way to disable and enable connect messages from playing or not playing? I cannot seem to find it in the tbd.conf file. I know it is an option during the install process but how to manipulate it after the
    install?

David it works fine. What we wanted was to have silent connects and disconnects during net time and just editing out
#$BIN/key in the wavplay only does the trick.
Thanks very much for your help on this.
