  • Killed a Long Path QSO

    Last night I tripped on a station calling CQ on 10m down in the digital end
    of the band I was really low on 10m and heard a weak signal on RTTY.

    So, I figured what the hell, and responded. returned with a call from DX VK land. I almost flipped. Not only did I tag the RTTY from VK land, it was my very first in the log for 10m RTTY to DX VK ... I barely finished the RTTY exchange and the signal was toast! DAMN.....

    I have no idea ... All I can figure out is this was a fluke and a long path QSO ..... Thus the Magic of 10m , here and gone...

    Nice one! :) I've been reading that 10 has been doing fairly well of late.

    HI Argos,

    yes ten meters is great here in vk I have had some great opening last one
    last week was Germany.

    15 has been the same the last few weeks has some great 15m contact into belgium.
    both are worth a look at at the moment
