Hi Tony!
It propagated to me ;))
I assume you have something wrong with your timezone.
I assume you have something wrong with your timezone.
Hmm, interesting. Not sure where Mystic gets its TZ information from. The system clock is on local time.

I believe it's an issue with the Raspberry Pi. For some reason, it
won't give the time zone properly...

Yeah I've noticed my BBS logs are in UTC, while the system clock is on local time. Well, being a net for radio hobbyists, UTC does seem rather appropriate. :D

I noticed times were not making any sense on the GameNet hub. That hub actually runs in a data center, somewhere I'm not sure where.
So I set synchronet to use UTC time at the hub and since then the times look good.
On my own BBS here it is set to use PST or PDT during the daylight time change and both Mystic and Synchronet work with that. I'm not sure if there is a way to tell Mystic about a different time zone.

I have the system clock set to local time, but the BBS (at least
Mystic) doesn't seem to see the local time.

Are you sure?
I assume you have set it to local time, but did not configure the TZ
info. So it will use local time, and claim it is UTC ;)

That is changable using Raspberry Pi configuration settings under Preferences.
Are you sure?If you're talking about the OS, yes the TZ is correctiy configured. I don't see any settings in Mystic.

Yes ... I was talking about the OS.
If the timezone information in Linux is set up correctly, then Mystic should use it.
(I assume ... have no clue of Mystic)

References to a GUI are useless to those who don't run one. :)

So my first assumption (Mystic bug) was again right :(
PS: Played a bit with MMDVM and DMRGateway yesterday ....
really nice :)
But I still have much to learn in regards to DMRGateway.
Currently I am logged in in parallel to Brandmeister, DMR+, XLR and
Yaesu (via DMR2YSF).
Even as "important" things as sending SMSes that will be converted to POCSAG messages is working ...
I just need more time to play around ;)

There is a push here to get a national paging network going,
based on DAPNET (which doesn't seem to be decentralised afterall!).
The "D" seems to stand more for "Deutsch". :D
