• Castle Rock BBS Down Time

From Black Panther@432:1/118 to All on Mon Feb 20 00:32:00 2017
    Hi All,

I would like to apologize for the extended down time of Castle Rock BBS tonight. I was doing some work on the message bases, and didn't want the
system to receive any mail while I was moving files around.

I decided that instead of having almost 16000 files in one \msgs\ directory,
I would split them up by network, and make them a bit more manageable.

All systems should be "GO" now! :)

No dramas, welcome back, hope all is working 100% now. :-)

Well, it's still a work in progress... :) I'm doing some changing of some programs that are running here. I've decided to try out Husky's HPT for
tossing mail and HTick for the files. I used HTick when I was running Synchronet, and really like the software.

I hope any future down times won't be as long. <fingers crossed>

Cool, I've never used hpt or htick, they seem to get a lot of good reports.

I hope any future down times won't be as long. <fingers crossed>

    Let's hope that's the case. :)
