There will be a file echo, once I get around to it. :) More to learn and setup. :)

    Hi, Ed...

My Belief is H.A.M. = Hardly Any Money because everytime a HAM has everythin EV>He needs in His Station, another New Item is advertised that every Ham EV>MUST HAVE.

The equipment manufacturers must think we're rich. I'm reminded of the cartoon where the robber tries to hold up this guy, and is told "You're
    wasting your time...I'm a ham"!! <G>

I bought most of my gear used.
Some items were Hand Me Downs from another Ham with no price tag on it.

Sometimes, it's buyer beware, though. If they won't let you test it
first, it's best you decline their offer, and move on. Unfortunately,
some things at the flea markets are basically "worthless boat anchor doorstops".

Afaik there isn't a Amateur Radio Store close enough for Me to be bugging EV>the YF about My always needing something.

There used to be a nice ham radio store in Cabot, Arkansas many years ago...but it has long since gone out of business. The closest "store" to Arkansas now is Main Trading in Paris, Texas. Richard Lenoir, KI5DX, and
his family, are good folks to work with.

    TZUTC 0 sounds wrong ...
This is the weird R-Pi issue, where Mystic uses UTC, rather than the

I guess what you wanted to write is that is a Mystic issue when running on RPi?

Hopefully you've got things running again!

Yeah, we're back up and running, has been for a while, but has taken me mych longer to get myself back in the game. :( But I got sidetracked by migrating my RoIP multimode server to a Docker based setup. Not fully complete - about 80% there.

... I'm NOT addicted. I just use the modem all the time.

    Tony,

Just testing that I'm getting out.

    You are...I hadn't seen anything from your system in a long time;
then my nodelist directory was FULL of back nodelist files. Good to
    see you back.

Yeah the hub has been back for a while - me, well that took longer. :)

Sure thing. Good to see things are running again.

Yep, a number of technical issues, some hardware (which I think I have contained) and some software on the hub itself.

Ummmmm..... well, that's because Tony's system has been not online for that length of time, and suddenly (maybe) came back to life a few days ago. His system was not reachable and no mail was flowing.

Apologies for the downtime, it was rather baffling, but all sorted now and the mail is flowing. :)

Yes it has been interesting. Started out in 2020-2021 as a conference server, but recently, it was integrated with two other systems, one nearby in Sydney, the other halfway around the world. And we used a unique method of linking them.

But I've since started the process of migrating it all to a Docker based setup for ease of management, as well as being able to eliminate a server, compared to the old system.
