what do you think about a survnet-echo whish contains weather forecast
and weather warnings?
I think this is a good idea, even though i'm not sure how it would work.
if i have just a smallwidth internet-access i can read weatherinfos from the survnet with my android-device and hotdoged (fido ftn-reader).
The only android-device I have now is MINI TV for android Dual-Core A9 processor. RK3066 with 2core+4 GPU HDMI output. I mainly, just have it pluged into my flat-screen TV and use the Wi-fi for streaming Moives off the Inet. I've never messed with installing (AfterShock or HotDoged) on it yet. Sounds pretty cool for the android or Iphone though :)
we just have to make a survnet echo and add an post-bot with the data. i dont know the US/CAN weather-warning points but i can help with the european stuff. like estofex or warning from the german-language-room.
I can add a SV_WEATHER echo, if the other nodes would like it. The is
already, a fileecho for it. That all nodes can access from FTP or bbs.

Good idea! fidonet has a Weather echo. If anyone knows the rules about cross posting to other networks, maybe they can fill me in :)
