I'd just like to relay a story from someone I closely know. He was used to downloading TV episodes over Torrents. He got a letter from his Internet company that stated he needs to cease pirating movies and if it would
continue their would be problems. So what can we gather from this: 1) The
ISPs are indeed watching... 2) They're not total asses (they warn before proceeding)... and 3) they are effective at stoping copying with their
warning letters.
So what does this mean for you? Well you can still get your dose of videos
but you'll need a VPN. What's a VPN?? Well its a type of proxy that allows
you to connect to the VPN and the VPN connect to the torrent. VPNs can be
very inexpensive and can fully mask your identity. Around where I live the NordVPN is advertised on the TV so that might be a good place to start. Just know that you *are* being watched and your ISP may not be as nice as the one described above, they may not give you a second chance but seek litigation quickly. I highly recommend that you learn more about your VPN options and
pay the small monthly fee for the peace of mind that The Man won't be coming after you for watching the latest documentary.
