• Designing Bugs in a "Maker" Community

So you're a "Maker" -- someone who makes hacker technology. Have you ever dreamed of making bug that would actually work and work well? Well you can
and you can do it in such as way that it would not be easily detected.
Here's what you need: A wireless router that has firmware in the open source
or ar least re-imageable and a Raspberri Pi version 3. The router would deal with transmission of the audio signal and the RaspPi3 would capture the
audio. This if possible would all fit within the box that the router comes
in, but if not then the RaspPi could be placed in a box that would look identical to a power box similar to the boxes that filter the power for
laptop computers. The antennas on the router would be upgraded to the extra large variety with a lot of dB improvement in signal strength. The antennas would then me positioned to direct the RF signal to a nearby building that
you control. Because the signal would travel in the 2.4 GHz frequency ranges it would look just like a regular router. 2.4GHz rather than 5 GHz would be used because the 2.4GHz band goes through walls much better than in the 5 GHz band. You wouldn't want to communicate to the router, the router would just transmit the signal and the radiation from the transmission be picked up from
a WiFi sniffer at your location. This could be done by using an IceCAST
audio streaming package so that the audio would be sent digitally in
real-time. If you've made this and you're a "maker" in the "maker community" you have arrived.

Like everything posted here its for reasearch purposes. I don't suggest you commit a crime, but I see nothing wrong with learning about security topics
in the security field. If you make this and use it illegally you're risking some serious trouble, so just don't, but have fun intellectually.

    Best regards<
