Got my network card in the mail from China today and popped it in. Loaded up the RTL8139 (RTSPKT.COM) packet driver and mTCP and viola!
mTCP's TELNET.EXE works quite nice. Doesn't support iCE colors though. Also, it
borks on some stuff with ENiGMA 1/2 as the system currently makes extensive use of query cursor position ANSI ESC's and mTCP's telnet has a very small buffer. I have plans to rid of most if not all of the built in query position code and just rely on a internal state that should make most legacy DOS terms happy.
Anyway, anyone else do this kinda thing? What DOS internet utilities / packages
do you use? Anyone have recomendations for other DOS terminals that support TCP/IP? (Packet driver + a semi-standard stack).
