• Televideo Personal Terminal Troubleshooting Request

From Gandalf@80:505/9 to All on Mon Sep 28 08:47:45 2020
Good day! I apologize if this is the wrong area for this post. I have been using a Televideo Personal Terminal for BBSing and while using it, the video just faded away. I have some experience in adjusting CRT's and component
level replacement, but need advice on how to troubleshoot this issue. I do
not have a schematic. When I turn it on, the screen is black, no lines. I
do see the neck of the CRT glowing. If anyone has any suggestions or can
help me troubleshoot this issue, It would be greatly appreciated. There is
no rush to get this done, I am more interested in learning. Thank you.

Ha! Thanks. I like using vintage equipment for fun. The PT100 is old like
me and it has provided hours of entertainment. [tumbleweed rolling by] Just like I still enjoy BBSing [another tumbleweed passes]. Thanks again for
letting me know that it was the proper area for the message.
