That last post was interesting, hope they get going, but I noticed the UTF-8 character bugs again. We've got to find a way around that problem. There has
to be multiple ways to fix that with programming rather than by hand each
time (which I've been doing). Should be as easy as substitute characters for UTF-8 ' and other such characters that are causing it. Should be able to work like fromdos and todos, fromutf8 and toutf8? Should be able to use X to download the bad text, run a program and use U to re-post it corrected. Might be able to make a command for that in the message menu in Linux.

Did find one quick solution for me: gedit. I downloaded the text as Atari-Fig.txt and then loaded it with gedit under Linux (which knows about UTF-8) so it looks fine. I can read it well that way, but that's all. I tried
a Windows converter using wine and it didn't really work or I don't really
know how to use it (it tried) called CpConverter_v0.1.5.zip (really CpConverter.exe). It at least seems to run or try under wine on x64_x86 Linux.
