So after years of experimenting, I found the best two systems for emulation are the Original XBOX modded and the Raspberry PI 3.
Currently I am doing all my SNES/NES/PS1/Geneis/GBA emulation on it
    and it works beautifully.

What are you using on the pi3? Controller as well? My biggest complaint
    on emulation is controller.

    How bout everyone else?

my windows PC still have the emulators and it works... just not as nice as sitting on the sofa on the television.

I have an Pi3 running Retro Pi - works great. I mostly have NES/SNES ROMs,
but I am going to be looking for ROMs for some of the other consoles soon. I didn't really play them much originally, so I'll probably be looking at the most popular ones.

I use RetroPi on my Pi3, and I am currently just using a NES controller look
a like since most of the stuff I play is SNES. I also have a Playstation USB controller I use for SNES and other consoles.

Duhhh, I never thought to just plug in the USB joystick we use on the computer. Sigh.

Just ordered a second Pi3. ;) Gonna do a full on RetroPi setup for
Andrea who loooove the old games. Can I ask where to find NES and SNES
roms or is that against the rules?

That's an area I am not real sure about, but if you search google for emuparadise, maybe that might help :)

Nothing beats an XBox 360 controller.. it works on anything that supports USB devices. I use mine on my PC and in SteamOS
