Something I always wanted to do was to emulate the C64 and run CNet64 v12 on it. Has anyone been able to get this done? Any tips on this? I dabbled in this a few years back. I guess I need to set it all up again and start tinkering with it to see if I can get this to work.

I believe there are a few guys running Image on Vice, Which as you already know is the upgrade of 12.0. Ryan Sherwood from Facebook I believe knows
the
ins and outs of doing it. He is supposed to get me a doc writeup of
hooking
up Image via Vice. He is on Facebook there is also an Image group there
with
a bunch of people.. I was going to set up an Image via Vice after I
finished
setting up Mystic on the PC side, then Excelsior! on an Amiga Emulator,
but
Larry Hedman from Florida has both my old Image Boards 1.2 and 2.0 (I was doing the programming on finishing it up back in 96) online and running.
So I
am probably going to skip the Image setup. Check in the Image group on Facebook they will hook you up..

Thanks for the reply. If you happen to get any ducuments on
this, please share. Otherwise I will look into your Facebook suggestion until then. I will be sure to post any finding in here for anyone who is interested.

I dunno naught about Linux. Have you considered Fame? Or how anout Zeus? Or Excelsior or even Ami-Express? These are all fine Amiga BBS's.
If you wanna see a couple in action,CIA BBS [Ciabbs.dynu.net:6400] is running Zeus and Sanctuary BBS [Sanctuary.zapto.org:1541] is on Ami-Express. I know another one runs on Fame, but I don't remember at
the moment. I've been toying around with the idea of getting another BBS online. Amiga specific, but not necessarily CNet. I'm hoping to gain further ARexx instruction this way, as a pfile that works fine on CNet won't run on Excelsior without tweaking it first. I wanna learn why something is tweaked this way and why ARexx pfiles aren't compatible across all Amiga boards. I've looked at buying ARexx books, but eBay is ridiculous.
Ah, a C=64 board. Gotcha. :-) Did you see that virtually every game for the C=64 is now available on the Internet Archive? There is even an emulator, so I can go play Blue Max! Good luck with the new BBS!
