    I still can't get any version of C-Net 64 to answer. I thought someone
    had the right combonation. I wanted to get something up to play with and to work off the rust of running a C64 BBS before the new C-Net64 is released.

    What I have been doing with the Image BBS is just reverse DTR and it will answer and connect, I also use escape codes to hang up because DTR won't work because it is reversed.. CNet should be just about the same...

    I would love to look at it, but right now I am just so backed up it's ridiculous, I have to finish my Image Theme for Mystic BBS, start the CNet AMiga theme, move my Image 1.2 board over to real hardware (or at least start to, my Ultimate 64 should ship this coming week). And then there is "The Next Generation" I am working on.. The Wrong Number IV will live again real soon. Between the new job and whatnot I am stretched a little thin.. I will try to give it a quick look, are you working with DS2 or 12.0??

    Ok try to reverse DTR if possible, not sure if DS2 has a switch for it, the reason it answers and then doesn't do anything is it needs the DTR reversed,
    I went through this with Image at first, when I first got it running in WinVice, I tried with the basic setup, DTR (regular) DTR hangup, TCPSER with
    no modem string. It would answer, but never connect then hang up, when i reversed DTR, it answered and connected. Then when I tried to log off it wouldn't drop carrier, so I tried escape codes and that dropped carrier. So,
    I was able to get it running within a couple of hours.. Now I am working on a documentation file which is about 2 hours from completion and since it is 9:00PM here and I have to be at work in the morning, I won't be able to
    finish it until tomorrow, when I do I will put it on Facebook in my BBS page. You should be able to use the files I use now (BBS Server and VSPE (virtual serialport emulator) ) which might give you a bit more functionality for
    DS2.. It's got a few more switches that might help out getting you going.. I should have it ready tomorrow evening.. Hopefully, it will help...

    Take your time, I waited this long without a 64 BBS, it can wait. I am
    still using your first setup with tcpser and winvice you set me up with. Made
    copies and have them on 2 PC now. My laptop and my Tower that will run the BBS.

    I am getting a LOT of traffic for people looking and asking for more DS-2 boards. Currently each day I am seeing about 20-30 hits on the Low Down DS-2 board content @ 8bitboyz.com. There seems to be a high amount of interest in DS-2 the past 8 months.

    I am now running v2.6 that was released today at FWII

    All accounts beside's K-Guides was lost. I had to do a clean install. So come
    grab a spot. I will be around to grant quick access.

    The board is now mostly stock. You will see as things change.
