My new amateur radio license showed up in the email this morning.

I am now KS4TD.

The FCC public database will lag behind and be updated some time next week but I will be operating as KS4TD immediately.

Why not K4STD?

I wanted it to be a surprise. :P

That's how I was notified on my 59th birthday that my new callsign
was effective. It expires when I turn 69, and we'll save any snide
remarks for the fertilizer net. <G>
