This really isn't a Renegade issue but I figured I'd post it here anyways. Does anyone else have any issues with Net2BBS just timing out? The service doesn't stop, it's running - however, I am noticing after receiving a large number of blocked/banned/hammering connections - And then I attempt to connect it just stays in a state of "connecting" and won't connect until Net2BBS is restarted.

This seems to be a bug in Net2BBS - I am running this on Windows 10 32-bit in Service Mode now in front of Renegade - I did have the server setup in
Console Mode because initially but figured it was worth trying Service Mode to see if it had any impact. It's NOT a Renegade issue because it doesn't even get to the point of spawning a new node for the BBS to connect to.

I don't want to have to restart the service/process everyday and if anyone else has run into this, it would be helpful to know what settings (if any) are necessary to prevent this behavior in the .INI file.

Grab 1.26 beta from netfoss.com ... it fixed "SOME" of these issues. But I still check my board every day just for that issue. But since I updated net2bbs to 1.26beta 2 it hasn't happened very often.

I also run in console mode though .... try that with the beta ver and see if that helps.

Unfortunately this exact problem happened here so much that I replaced Net2BBS with another, Zoob telnet server. It does not do any blocked/banning but you could work around that if you had Pfsense as your router.
