    sadly, he's using my copy, not yours.
    i can tell because lord and all the good doorgames are 'preinstalled'

    but he said he didn't like renegade, but i'm sure he picked it because
    renegade is easy to setup on the sysop end and easy to use for the users.

    You can do that now with NetSerial ... that's how I ran this place for probably 8 years or more until the stupid bots kept hitting all the ports and tieing up the nodes until FD timed out.

    The only reason I switched was for that. With Net2BBS it atleast spawns the nodes and they all don't have to be sitting there waiting for a call.

    ... I had a cat once. Tasted like chicken.

    yeah i know. netserial's / net2bbs has a shitty way of blocking bots.
    it never works.

    i use peerguardian and i block first and then whitelist later when the user passes the challenge. that seems to be the only effective way.
