  • Door Game doesn't show remote

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to setup a door game and when I launch the game from a remote computer, it does not show on the remote, but it displays when I'm watching it on the BBS computer. Anyone have any thoughts on what to look for?

    The door game in question is BBS Simulator. I've tried the 32bit version but since RG doesn't generate door32.sys files, it doesn't launch at all.

    You need to use NetFOSS and NFU to load a door32.sys door under a DOS based BBS. And yes, Renegade can generate a Door32.SYS file (CMDKEY D3), but it just makes the file, doesn't help run a 32bit door. Either way you will have to launch the NFU batch file with door.sys so it will convert it to door32.sys (its in the docs with NetFOSS) ...

    Thanks. That did the trick. The door loads but now when the game exists, it's actually hanging up on the user. Ha! I'll enjoy chasing this one down.
