• "We will be writing up a report on the incident in the future."

    The (old) kernel.org website stated, concerning the intrusion from 2011:

    "We will be writing up a report on the incident in the future."

    The new kernel.org website doesn't seem to mention anything about that;
    I assume the (forensic) analysis is still ongoing.

    Is there some up-to-date report about this intrusion, any new released information?

    I've been pondering the same thing, but so far there hasn't been any
    news regarding this security breach. I'd be surprised if they still are investigating the matter at present time, though.
