I wish to build a guest with 64Gb

UP TO 128 BIT KANNST DU VERGESSEN

    I use

    virt-install \
    -n botham \
    -r 65536 \
    --vcpus=6 \
    --os-variant=rhel6 \
    --accelerate \
    --nographics \
    -v \
    -l /mnt/centos6.4 \
    -w bridge:br0 \
    --disk path=/datastore/botham.img,size=20 \
    -x "console=ttyS0"

but this dies almost immediately with

    Starting install...
    Retrieving file .treeinfo... | 676 B 00:00
    ...
    Retrieving file vmlinuz... | 7.7 MB 00:00
    ...
    Retrieving file initrd.img... | 62 MB 00:00
    ...
Creating domain... | 0 B 00:00 Connected to domain botham
    Escape character is ^]

Domain installation does not appear to have been successful.
If it was, you can restart your domain by running:
    virsh --connect qemu:///system start botham
    otherwise, please restart your installation.

If I change the -r config to -r 1024 then it runs fine

Is there a limit on what RAM virt-install can handle?

    cheers

    Ian
