I doubt that info meant anything to them. You're just a paying
    client just like everyone else.

adding "this is 6 times in 6 months I've had battery issues
with the system"...and that "if they are going to charge me
$200 every time they come out (even though I've been with
them for 18 years), that I would cancel the service, and
either not have a monitored system...or go with someone
else...and spread the word at what lousy customer support
    that ADT provides".

Now, the word "cancel" in the last part probably mattered the
most to them. So.. did you get the matter resolved?

    August,

Think about what other ailments may be tied to the things you
    consume. :D

That applies to all of us...and "no one is getting out alive".
Tomorrow, let alone the next 15 seconds, is promised to no one.

I doubt that info meant anything to them. You're just a paying
    client just like everyone else.

I also told them that "word of mouth" can help or kill a business.

At the moment, yes. But, I have a backup company I can go to, if
they get too nasty about it.

It was like a former area buffet restaurant. They expect a 20% tip
BEFORE you even get your food. The service was lousy, and when I
finally got to the manager, I told him "If this had been my first
visit here, it certainly would've been my last".

If they want a tip, I'll give them 3:

    1) Plant your corn early.
    2) Keep your powder dry.
    3) Always have clean underwear on.

The latter is easier said than done. <G>
