BTW, I did get my second Shingrix shot last week,
Very good... now that's off the to-do list... ;) I still need to
    get mine started....

I had mine done in March, then in May...apparently, it's 2 shots, 2
months apart. But, I shouldn't need it again.

Yup, it's two shots, 2-6 months apart... I got cold feet on it
(partially due to cost) last fall, and by the time I was thinking about
    it again things shut down...

And now, Wegmans has been able to put some of the tables and chairs
back out so that people can eat there again... the self-serve buffets
aren't back yet... that may be a while, sadly...

I don't think the self serve buffets will return for a long while.
The Golden Corral in North Little Rock has switched to "Cafeteria Style"... it's still "All You Can Eat", but they serve you. I haven't
been out there since that change was made.

Maybe sooner than you think... but I don't expect it soon, either...

Some groups here do seem to be testing the limits, though... :)

Especially the kids, who think they're invincible.

And are finding out that they aren't after all...

And gives a little extra time before your next needed haircut... ;)

I need to call the lady who does my hair...it's not growing as fast
as my beard and moustache, but I can't stand for more than a minute in front of the sink, stove, toilet, or in the shower...or my legs
    spasm from the arthritis.

Have to sit down to do things, I guess... :)

As things open up, some are doing in-person again, others still prefer
the tele-approach... my GI doctor has to take more time now in the
mornings/afternoons for the procedures, so insread of office visits
early (before the procedures start), he's doing either computer or
phone visits... so my rescheduled appointment is now again rescheduled
as a phone visit at 5 pm a couple weeks later... Nothing critical at
the moment, just an on-going followup....

My next colonoscopy is next April. I hope he lets me go back to the citrate of magnesia and the Ducolax. That Go-Lytely was so tart that
it reacted violently with the stomach acid (it felt like my esophagus
was burning), so I couldn't finish it.

Both of those are too harsh for my esophagus and stomach... What I've
had the best results from is using Miralax dissolved in a sports
drink... still can't do a full prep, but at least can get enough down to
    get cleaned out... ;)

We survived lots of now somewhat unthinkable things back then... <G>

And, we look back on that, and wonder how we did survive.

Nah... Just realize that one can survive a lot more than some think...

<head spinning> Yes, probably multiple births - stil makes my head
    spin!
    It is a head-spinner... ;)

That's like the joke of the couple who had been having great
difficulty having children. So, after prayer, they came to their pastor late one evening. They told him that "Pastor, if you anoint us with
oil, lay hands on us, and pray over us, we feel that God will grant us
a baby". The preacher was comfortable with that (even at the late
hour), and he asked his wife to get the anointing oil.
Well, she couldn't find that, but she had 3 in 1 oil instead....so,
they figured that'd be "close enough". The couple was anointed, had
the laying on of hands, and prayer, and they went home. Nine months
later, the husband calls the preacher, telling him that his wife was
going to deliver triplets. The preacher sheepishly apologized, and
said "I wasn't expecting the 3 in 1 oil to work like that". The
new father replied "No worries, Pastor. We're just praising The Lord
    that you didn't use WD-40". <BG>

    [groan]

True on the helping and leaving. ...And so the children of your older
brothers and sisters are about the age of the younger ones. Are we up
to where one is their own uncle or aunt yet?! <g>
No, but with 35 kids, likely there would be some uncles/aunts that were
    younger than their nieces/nephews....

Sounds like some of the things I've seen in the "You Might Be A
Redneck" door on the BBS. :P

Overlapping generations isn't really a redneck thing at all... maybe
some ethnicities might be more or less inclined to the large spreadout
families that produce the overlap... But being your own aunt/uncle or
grandpa might be more of a redneck thing... marrying within too close of
a relationship, and/or the abundance of step-families and all... :)

I did good on the cost, with my medical insurance...even with just Medicare...and I think I have WellCare for prescription drugs, etc.
Right now, I think I pay $3.50 for generic and $7 for brand name.

Maybe sooner than you think... but I don't expect it soon, either...

I need to go out and graze, but I don't want to get caught out in

I'm also on stright Medicare... with a drug plan, but mine is more
nuanced... some of my generics are $0 copay, and brand name depends...
Flu shot is covered by Medicare, but other vaccines are from the drug
plan, and what is covered there varies...

Compared to my brother, which I noted in another message, I'm in
far better shape than he is...although not in pristine condition by
    any means.

A fellow ham radio operator told me his ex-wife never forgave him
for one time of leaving the toilet seat up. She was pregnant, and
went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but didn't turn
the light on, and fell in. He said "Had she jiggled the flush handle,
she might have thought a bidet had been installed". :P

Well, after a heifer gives birth, she is de-calf-inated. <G>
