• Side mirrors - heating

From Barry Martin@454:1/1 to Nancy Backus on Tue Apr 14 10:46:00 2020

    Hi Nancy!

Did check the manual: the rear window defogger also activates the side
mirror heating. Sort of explains the 'randomness' of why sometimes it
seemed like there was melting going on and why sometimes not. LIS, my
short trips didn't help with the correlation.

About time you checked the manual, then... <G> Yup, if you weren't
trying to clear the rear window, you'd not get any clearing for the
mirrors except by chance (or a stray wind).... and if the trip was too
short for the rear defroster to work completely, the mirrors likely
    wouldn't, either...

About half the time my heat is just starting to get going and I'm at my destiation!
