    Hi Nancy!

Darn short subject fields! <g> "Spring has sprung, the River has Riz."

Locally the Mississippi Ruiver is two feet over flood stage (message
earlier this week I didn't think it was that high yet); they're closing
River Drive downriver from downtown Davenport as a precaution. Appears
part of the flood prep now is not to wait until the very last minute.

Yup: last I heard they had closed off the western portion of River Drive
-- downriver from Downtown Davenport. River is stll about 2' above
flood stage; yesterday's snow won't make much difference locally. They
are predicting another snow tonight which according to the current
tracking is 2-3" for here but 10" in SE Iowa.

Right: don't really need any more financial troubles around here: last
year flood-related closures and damages; this year COVID-19-related
issues creating two years in a row problems.

Quite sure they are! Not uncommon to flood so do need to be prepared.

I'm not a big fan of having the same meal the following night; a one

Haven't heard of any flooding though the past week's rain and drizzle
have made the ground saturated. The sump pump here has been working
though I think finally got caught up yesterday. As for Michigan -- eek!
Saw their flooded streets, etc., on the news. And Texas had ping pong ball-sized hail. Daryl's been reporting thunderstorms for his area but
not nearby -- just close enough to make him a little nervous. And he
did get his Windows software a week early so his tech service can get
started and he should have his hardware back home before surgery.
They're also transferring the backups but at this time don't know how
much reconfiguring needed to get the BBS back on-line. At least
software doesn't weigh much and he can work on that while recuperating
from the hernia surgery ==> lifting/weight restrictions and I had
suggested a while back about maybe getting a neighbourhood kid to help
    carry and plug in cables.

    I'm thinking the latter:

Chicken tikka masala is a dish of chunks of roasted marinated chicken
in a spiced curry sauce. The sauce is usually creamy and
orange-coloured. There are multiple claims to its place of origin such
as the United Kingdom and Indian subcontinent. It is among the United
    Kingdom's most popular dishes.

Sounds like the tagline had a bit of confusion. ...Not like I've never
    had that problem!

The good news is that hasn't happened for some time. As long as
    'almost' doesn't count!

If it was caught before it had to be tossed, could still be used, then
    almost wouldn't count... ;)

... Chicken Tikka Masala not fish 'n chips is the national
    British dish.
That could probably lead to a few trivia contest wins!
If it actually is accurate... I do have my doubts as to whether it's
true or just a joke... <G>
    I'm thinking the latter:
Chicken tikka masala is a dish of chunks of roasted marinated
chicken in a spiced curry sauce. The sauce is usually creamy and orange-coloured. There are multiple claims to its place of origin
such as the United Kingdom and Indian subcontinent. It is among the
    United Kingdom's most popular dishes.

Popular, yes, but not replacing fish and chips necessarily... ;)

Sounds like the tagline had a bit of confusion. ...Not like I've
    never had that problem!

I'm sure that it wasn't really intended for actual truth, just to get a
rise out of people... a related one is below... ;)
