So, I was just wondering. Does programming count as a hobby?

I've been writing programs, mostly for BBSs, since 2017 when I started to re-teach myself how to program. ;)

I would say that if it is something you enjoy in your off time, it certainly qualifies as a hobby. Do you have any programs for Synchronet?

Not directly, but I do have one that I wrote that can be used with any BBS program. It's my MTAFile program, that will pull the file information from the incoming .tic files, and create a text file that can be posted showing all of the incoming new files.

If you see the ones that I post in several of the networks 'New File Announcement' echos, that is using my program.

I was actually just making a few changes/additions to that program before logging on to read messages. ;)

It's always cool to see that BBS development carries on. I would imagine that as newer versions of OSes come out it can be a challenge to keep things working as intended.

What's your favorite program you've written?

... My reality check just bounced
