    Hello Sneaky,

I see a post in the amiga area that came in from your BBS. That message originated in fidonet.

I suspect you have the GameNet and fidonet amiga areas there and they both have the same filename in your message base config?

If that's the case you may want to change the filename for the GameNet amiga area to gn_amiga or something unique.

We don't mind seeing the fido messages here but out in fidoland they probably don't want to see GameNet messages.. :)

    Ttyl :-),
    Al

Sorry about that and I hope it doesn't do that again in amiga area
or any other area , please let me now if it does, might have to look
in to it ferther if it does.

Okay, I have changes filename gn_amiga

That should do the trick, for that area anyway. I just went and had a look at the areas and compared them to backbone.na. APPLE and WINDOWS are also fido areas that might cause problems so you'll want to do the same for those areas if you have those fido areas on your BBS also, although I haven't seen anything else crossing over.

Another option is to set a different path for different nets instead of putting everything in mystic/msgs/, something like mystic/msgs/gamenet/ for the gamenet areas and mystic/msgs/fido/ for fidonet areas. Not stictly needed as long as the filename is unique.

    okay that's cool

when I did gn_amiga I went through all gamenet and checked ie gn_apple gn-window gn_game etc
this is in mystic bbs in sbbs it is gamenet_apple internal code

yes probably a good idea, will look into that in the near future.

    Thank you
