I discovered that when running the Sunrise Doors InterBBS
processing, PeerBlock has to be DISABLED, or TEMPORARILY
EXITED...otherwise the scores will not process correctly.
But, once I had done that, scores updated just fine.

I also re-downloaded all of the files from the Sunrise
Doors website, which now have the EXE Self Installs, and
put them into ZIP files. And, I have updated the files
area on the BBS for it.

Well thats good to know.. I do not have peer block. I use strict router commands and forwards. Seems pretty well except for my port 25. Looking
to bridge my modem to my old belkin soon.

Ahh didnt realize you didnt know this.
Best bet is to stick pkzip, pkunzip and zip into your win32/folder.

How are you getting along with synchronet so far?

    Regards,
    Kris

    Kris,

I'm using the email deal with Vertrauen, although I still have an
email deal with "MailHop". In either case, Spam Assassin is in place.

Ahh didnt realize you didnt know this.

The only time I had downloaded stuff was when Al released new
versions, as at one time, he had "BBS distribution sites" for his doors,
etc. But, I have all of the 16-bit doors, WinServer doors, Sunrise
Home Software, and InterBBS processing programs, in one file area.

Best bet is to stick pkzip, pkunzip and zip into your win32/folder.

Right now, I have these in \SBBS\EXEC -- and it works fine. As noted,
I'm using PKZIP/PKUNZIP for QWK Packets...and ZIP/UNZIP for netmail and echomail.

How are you getting along with synchronet so far?

Everything seems to be working OK. I am using the SBBS_DEV.ZIP version
of Synchronet 3.17 -- which, along with an ever growing user.can file,
is helping weed out the bots.

As for BBS issues, more often than not, it's the simple things that
    cause the most grief.
