    Hi Al,

Would you mind posting this about once a week or bi weekly? If not I
    could do it Automated.

    ;)

We are live now. But for the moment it is just us 2.

Also, RJ Clay has pretty much asked me to take over the net for
Indiana.. Sooo.. Guess what??? We are going to smack FidoNet in the face
if this happens.. First I will ask about adding the very same Sunrise
Echo feed to my HoosierNet. Then we will have all bases covered.

Funny thing is... There are plenty of abandonware echoes in fidonet. I
wonder why Janis wouldnt approve instantly the thought of having Sunrise
    Doors in the Echolist?

We will make this happen though!

    Regards,
    Kris Jones

Hmm, I post normally about once a month. This is the first time I have
been asked to post more frequently. When I did years ago, the moaning
    and groaning was rampant <grin

If you can automate it then you can make it weekly or bi-weekly, which
will not be too over-bearing to others

    Has to start somewhere <grin

In my position as an author, I have to stay neutral.

I am not privy to Janis' thinking or privy to the politics of Fidonet. I
would love to see everyone come together and play nicely in the
    shrinking world of the Nets!

Well, Monthly sounds about right! Bi Weekly and weekly might fill up
some space in our message clients and servers for info that we already
    know ;)

    Yes Sir, it does :-)

Also, RJ Clay has pretty much asked me to take over the net for

I agree.. I was putting it in words that the new generations can
understand! There are a lot of them out there.. Thats why we built this
echo in the first place ;). Back in our time(s) we read the instructions
or readme's to properly install the games or anything else on our
Commodores or IBM P/S 2's or windows 3.1 or even Apple... I have over
100 games on my BBS that I have had no help in installing. Even when instructions are not clear I will play around with settings until I get
    an outcome!

But, if help is asking and they learn, maybe they will carry on our information and help out the next Generation.

    Will be interesting ;)

Well, that about sums it up for me as well. Janis is a good gal, she
seems alright.. But As for not approving and assigning a hub in your
area a new echo to add for Sunrise Doors;) is a little absurd. You are
one of the ONLY authors still in existence.

Just look at Mahul Patel and the Solar Realms Games. He sold those keys
to John Dailey and there has not been an updated source since the game
    was sold.

Go easy on her... engage on the merits and the outcome may be surprising.

That comment makes me feel 'dinosaurish' <hahaha

This may or may not be news, but some of us buy so as to keep the
products readily available rather than letting them die!!

I am always willing to discuss these type of acquisitions...

LOL, was not my intentions! But you know.. Dinosaurs can outlive the weak measly humans by about a 100 years or better ;)

Which is very cool. But when I was having the issue with colonies you were willing to open the source and bug check. I highly doubt that John Dailey will ever try to open the Source for Barren Realms Elite and fix the many issues it has been know for...
