From Daryl Stout@HURRICAN/THUNDER to All on Thu Mar 30 10:47:00 2017
I'm running Windows 7 32-bit, and have been using the 16-bit
versions of the Sunrise Doors almost since the BBS first went
online 25 years ago. I'm currently running Virtual Advanced
(VADV32), and originally, it only produced the "traditional"
    dropfiles of DORINFO1.DEF, DOOR.SYS, and CHAIN.TXT -- but I
discovered the other day, that in the specific node directory,
it now produces a DOOR32.SYS dropfile.

Right now, the 16-bit Sunrise Doors that I have (of which,
several are in the InterBBS competition), use the DOOR.SYS
dropfile...but would the DOOR32.SYS dropfile work with the
    "Wildcat 5 doors"??

If so, I'll get over to the site, and register them. While
I had registered nearly all of his doors before they became
donation-ware...a bunch of medical bills right now may mean
the actual "coffee cup donation" may have to wait a bit.

Sunrise Door Software WINServer products must run natively under a
    WINServer license...

Not sure what that Door32.sys is used for...

Door32.sys is mainly for 32bit doors. There are only a handful of 32bit
    doors on the market.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.. I know what you are goping through
    is painful.

    Al,

Sunrise Door Software WINServer products must run natively under a WINServer license...

Not sure what that Door32.sys is used for...

Door32.sys is like one of the other dropfiles.

I guess WinServer is a different platform, and it wouldn't run under
    a 32-bit system, even under Windows 7??

I'll let others address WINServer itself.... Our WINServer-specific
products run ONLY under and thru WINServer :)

Yeah, I saw that. Thanks for the clarification. I normally use the
DOOR.SYS or DORINFO1.DEF dropfiles for the doorgames.

My wallet and bank account are in more pain than I am. <G>

However, the arthritis in my left hip and left leg/knee are worse
than in the right hip and leg/knee. That was shown during the IVP
last Friday...and overnight, when my left knee locked up. I had to
use the walker next to the bed to steady myself in standing up,
    until the pain subsided.
