    I'm finally watching Better Call Saul. Never got into Breaking Bad, but I'm loving BCS so far. I've never seen a better chaotic good character than
    Jimmy McGill.

    I'm surprised no one talked about Michael McKean's performance. Wonderful.

    When Better Call Saul was announced, they made a promotional point that it would have a different tone than Breaking Bad, and with Odenkirk up front I thought it was going to be something a lot lighter than it turned out to be.

    The story is different but the tone really isn't. I think of Odenkirk as a comedian and he's really stretched a lot in this role. As with Breaking Bad, this is really propelled by characters - Jimmy and the kind of amazingly complex Kim Wexler.

    It really was and same thing here: I think of McKean as a comedian or comedic actor and he really carried the dramatic aspects of his character well.

    I had pretty good expectations for Better Call Saul, but in a lot of ways it's exceeded my expectations. Everyone on that show should be proud.

    Yeah pretty solid show. I never got into Breaking Bad myself that is, until I saw Better Call Saul.. but you will. I will say this, watching Breaking will make more sense about Jimmy. While he's not spot lit in a lot of episodes, there are are some key moments where he does...and it sets it up for what we may see in the next season too.

    Even Breaking Bad is fantastic too but the antics of Jimmy McGill is why I watch.

    Hey any Soprano fans in here? You have to watch Many Saints of Newark. While it seems to play out more like a long episode of Sopranos or rather one of Tony's flashbacks, it's not bad.

    It's like they took everything mentioned or known from the universe and dumped and made a history 101 film. There was some stuff I like about it and some stuff I didn't. The same guys that did Sopranos made this so it wasn't far off the mark. Anyone see this one yet?
