    Just curious how long it takes before a BBS is added to the Nodelist after joining the network ?

    That's likely the first step. They should be included in the next nodelist that gets hatched.

    Thanks for your insight. I will check if it shows up on next week's update. I joined RIGHT before the nodelist last week, so this is probably just the first full weeks nodelist update since. So assuming it would be amended to the list next week.

    Yep, it can take time for someone to get their hands on your app and get the new node listed and setup. The nodelist is a first step but there are others also. :)

    I am gonna argue that the nodelist is not the first step, since I am setup and have a node assigned to me and have been using it, but am not in the nodelist. :D So the nodelist would NOT be the first step in my opinion.

    FYI, I am not concerned about it taking time at all, was just curious on about what kind of time it took is all. :D

    Yeah, for FTN networks, I think a BBS should be added to the nodelist very soon. In order to route certain types of messages to you, other BBSes need to be able to look up your BBS in the nodelist in order for messages to get to you.

    I am going to ask a potentially dumb question, but are you sure you have
    the most recent nodelist? The breakdown could be that you are not
    setup to receive it via filefix.

    Yes I am sure. That is the reason I got to asking this question, because I was at first thinking my nodelist merging wasn't working. So I checked I had the most recent list in my file area, and manually searched the nodelist.

    Sorry have been busy with family stuff (parents unwell :(

    I'll check tonight and report back, it may be operator error (me:)) as I usually add a new node to the nodelist at the time I am adding the node to the HUB.

    Nodelists are processed Friday (New Zealand time) and checking the latest on on GitHub I can see you are not there but should be...

    I'll post again later tonight my time when I get home and have a time to check/sort.
