• Binkd question

From Alpha@21:4/158 to All on Sat Nov 14 19:21:49 2020
Does anyone have an example "unpack" (e.g. unzip) command they use in binkd.conf, before the tosser (hpt in my case) runs? I assume I could just write a shell script for that that unzips so I have the raw .pkt and then delete the archive, but thought I'd ask! This is my first time really using anything other than a built-in tosser. Using linux64/Ubuntu, binkd, husky setup with Talisman v.03 -- but the BBS system doesn't really matter in this case.

    Cheers,

    Howdy,

I dont recall setting this up, but this is what is used on Hub 3:

    Unpack "unzip -j -Loqq $a -d $p" 0 504b0304
    Pack zip zip -9 -j -q $a $f

Binkd doesn't unpack anything, it just transfers files back and forth.

hpt will unpack archives just fine, and also pack outgoing mail if a node is so configured.
