    Hey

I wanted to setup Gary's Quazar door server on HappyLand, but it seems
as though the Linux telnet command doesn't play well with GameServ
    (which Gary's using)

I wrote a basic python telnet script and after many attempts, it appears
    to be working...

It's experimental though and probably wont work with ZModem and things..
but you can play games :) It also allows you to press Ctrl-C which will
hang up and exit the script returning you to the BBS.

If you want this script let me know...

Yes :) I don't actually know what is there but have wondered. If we can
get something going that plays nice with the server.. :)

I have my inbound script looking for *.FHR files in the inbound and if
they are found switches to the fhnr dir and runs maintenance.

That won't be a problem will it, if someone was playing the game at the
    time it run or anything?

    Andrew;
Excellent Job! Although I don't run Linux, it would be great to have the script you wrote on the BBS for download...

I'm still working on my next door game. Having to take Nibbles at it instead of big bites... Just so much going on with "Life" seemingly.

I hope you and your family are doing well.

No, if someone is playing maintenance will not run. So a good idea to run maintenance after the player has quit as well..

I wouldn't mind having a copy so I can add his server back to the new
    BBS.

BBS side of things is done now, still just on the apache side of
things. LOL Mainly because I don't want to read the docs to learn how to
    get it working right. LOL
