We've been talking about doing an EchoLink SYSOP net over on MicroNet.
Because of that...got EchoLink set up. Had forgotten that I must have registered with KA0TT a while ago because put the wrong password in...then
the right one & took me to the main screen. I was shocked.

If anyone sees KA0TT out there being lonely...kick that wire & we can talk
each other's ears off. For that matter...if you know how to do a conference...let me know.

Cool, looks like I might have to get on Micronet. :)

Oh, boy can I do conferences - I run IRLP reflector 9550, which also hosts several integrated Echolink conferences. *VK3JED* (AKA IRLP 9558) is where I normally point scheduled nets to. Come to me with a time and date, and I'll see where to fit the net in. I might even join in myself. :)

Oh, and I'm also working on getting other media available. Been setting up AllStar, and also investigating how to link in the digital modes. :)

Oh yeah! A great net that has introduced me to others with many of the same interests...like OS/2 & telling funny stories about some of the stupid things we either did or happened to us.

Missed my fsxNet feed the past couple of weeks...with not seeing you there.
Let Avon know I was still around...even with brownouts. Have left a message with the 21:2 hub that I was missing the feed.

Saw one of these & did a CQ one afternoon on EchoLink.

Hot Dog! Sounds like you want to make me do math on the 16 hr time
difference. ;) You should know by now that I can only play blackjack being nude. ;D Will have to do a post of my work schedule for us to do this. Will
be a ton of fun just hearing what's happening to others. Missed those rag
chews used to do across town when I lived in Twin Falls, ID on 60 M.

Actually...missed not saying hi to you & others.

Sounds like a nice endeavor which is a lot of work...but the benefits are
    more than worth it.

It's a system based around the open source Asterisk PBX, works quite well. It's degigned for radio to tadio linking, but you can use a couple of smartphone IAX clients to log into your node from your phone, if you configure such access. It's not like Echolink in that you can't just connect to any AllStar nodes, only those for which you have a login and password.

Yes, that can happen. :) I've also been known to apply knowledge from one field into another, like the day I located the thinnet cables in the office - by putting a terminator on one end and a HT on low power into the other and DFing it with a sniffer. :) It worked very quickly, much quicker (and safer!) than crawling through the ceiling. :D

Oregon state has a helmet law that you have to wear a helmet to ride
    any motorcycle...so I wear one.

That makes sense in isolation, but not sure how we got onto helmets and motorcycles. ;)
