Don't forget that users can still dial in to that original CBBS software today in 2o23! Check out:

    cbbs.mitsaltair.com:8800

Its really neat to still login to the software that started it all... happy BBS Day.

If anyone would like to see an approximation of what this BBS looked like, I wanted to call attention to CBBS/NV at:

    cbbs.mitsaltair.com port 8800

It's a fascinating little system running on a MITS Altair simulator...on an AWS EC2 instance.

I need to resurrect my FIDO node - I set up fido 12u as a point on my
system some years back, but forgot how I handled the FOSSIL. I may have
had to run it under DOSBOX?

... I hear he can kill people with an init string.
