    Yep!

Photography is an old hobby of mine, and although I was more into it in
the '90s (both B&W and color), I've recently picked up a couple of NOS '90s-'00s P&S cameras to try with some different film stock.

Some of those P&Ss offer surprisingly many features, and are also of pretty decent quality if you know what to look for. Among them a Samsung Fino 170 Super (with what looks like rebranded Schneider lens) and a Pentax IQZoom EZY-R Date (Espio 738G QD), which is also surprisingly sharp...

As for film stock, I've recently tried out Kodak Professional Ektar 100, AgfaPhoto Vista+ 200 (rebranded Fujifilm Fujicolor C200) and Fujifilm Superia Premium 400 (the Japanese variety). Among those, I like Ektar best for its vivid colors, but actually the Vista+ is rather punchy, too. The Superia Premium is the most neutral one, albeit very nice at that, I think. All of them have fine grain yet still offer good sharpness.

In the past I've used both SLRs and DSLRs, too, but have settled for one digital compact camera (a Panasonic DMC-TZ10) and one digital bridge (super zoom) camera (a Panasonic DMC-FZ200), which have both given me very nice and sharp pictures over the years, although perhaps with a tendency of colors being a little muted or neutral.

Just picked up another postage paid film development mailer on sale here, so I have one ready when spring/summer arrives. =)

Here is a bit of my work.

I've primarily used film over the years. When I got a digital
camera to explore "convenience", the camera (Canon SureShot)
simply gave up the ghost after a few years of use; the electric
lens cover simply stopped opening. :( Since then, I simply
stopped taking photos as a creative hobby for other reasons.

Today, most of my photography is for practical purposes:
documenting damage to shipments/parcels at work, advertising,
or for just plain documentation. Today's smartphone cameras
seem to have very good picture quality.

When I was little, I was given permission to use this family
    camera as my first:

Next.. I eventually got a Kodak Instamatic 124.
Then, it was an SLR of some kind (forget the brand).
Then, it was another SLR, Canon EOS (forget the actual model..I
can't even find the camera at this moment!)
Then, it was a Minolta Maxxum 3xi, which I still have too.

The pictures i take.. .most on streets will be looked from people in 50 years or more to see, how the world and streets look like these days. The same
as i look on pictures from Garry Winogrand or old pictures from 1920-1950. Every single picture is tell me his own story of moment.

Sure, modern cell phones take good quality pictures, but most of this pictures get lost in cloud and will never be shown up.
Printet pictures in a photobook will live for a long time.

The loading of the film had to be done in the cover of
darkness. The negatives were wonderful at 6cm x 6cm. When I
had access to a dark room through the camera club at
highschool, I made some rather nice 8"x10" enlargements with
some of the negative of some of the pictures my parents took
    with that Brownie.

I have an "organ selfie" album that I've been filling up with another person.

Basically, when visiting somewhere, we go out of our way to make sure to take photos with organs (mostly visiting churches, but I got a lot of selfies at an organ museum, once).

And, the thing is, it's a travelogue all on its own; I was there, this was this point in my life, this is the sort of organ you can see in this area, etc.

But I do generally take pictures from the other side of the camera, too, and generally put my phone away to also spend some time enjoying the place.

But, all the same, now we're 6 years into taking organ selfies, and it's a neat collection on its own.

I like to visit lighthouses. In one of the first ones I ever visited, they
had a old pedal-powered Singer sewing machine, like both of my
grandmother's had. One also had an old pump organ similar to the one that
used to sit in my grandmother's living room.

So, in addition to pictures of light towers, I now have several pictures of
    old sewing machines and organs/pianos.

Nah, that's just every photo that includes a human with visible skin, so it feels redundant to make an album out of it.

I love analog photography! I have several camera to take with me whenever I'm on holiday or go to some event where I live!

My favourite camera is the Canon Sure Shot 105 Zoom (and Zoom S), because it does all of the focusing, advancing and winding for you, and photos turn out so good!

I also have a Zinet EM for whenever I'm in the mood for something more manual. I love how heavy and mechanical it feels. Photos also turn out great when I do everything right.

It sucks that film has become harder to find right now, but it seems to be because so many people are buying it again, which can only be a good sign in the long run, right?

    very nice photos GOM!
    thanks :)

    I got a old Yashica Elektro 35 GT :)
    But yours are really nice.

Analog is very expensive these days, but nothing can challenge a analog film photo.

I tested so much. The only camers who can challenge, are Sigma Foveon Cameras and old CCD Sensor Cameras like Kodak DCS or Epson RD 1.

Those are nice. I was more of a Canonet shooter back in the day, but I
liked the long exposures possible with the Electros. Walking around with
a rangefinder was a nice experience, felt like shooting with a $30
Leica. Now the prices on film cameras have gone through the roof, alas.

Analog is very expensive these days, but nothing can challenge a analog film photo.

Agreed. I used to use York Photo online, they started at $1.99 for
processing, prices crept up to $4.99, then Snapfish bought them and discontinued film processing.

I'm seeing interest in old digicams now, people are shooting with old CMOS-sensor cams from the early 2000s and playing with the results. I
think they're fun because of the limitations - you can concentrate on
capturing light and composition with anything and don't need a 20
    megapixel camera to do so.

My current favorite is a Nikon Coolpix 995 from around 2001. I always
wanted one but couldn't afford it. Picked one up for $35 in good
condition with a wide angle adapter, 4 filters, cables, 2 batteries and charger. It's a conversation piece when other photographers see me with
    it.

I used to joke that when I'd shoot street photography in sketchy
neighborhoods, I'd bring a Zenit. You could swing it on a strap if you
got in a fight, or not worry too much about replacing it if you lost it.
    :)

I did like those 58mm f/2 lenses - surprisingly sharp.

eBay is a good place to look for film, Freestyle photo isn't bad either.

I should offer up my film, as I don't think I'll be shooting much any
more. I've got a couple of tupperware containers in my mom's freezer,
mostly Fuji Superia 100, Fuji 100, some pharmacy branded 200 ISO, and
some Kodak Portra 400 taking up space.
