From MATT MUNSON@21:4/108 to All on Mon Aug 22 21:00:35 2022
It seems I might have to get my fathers credit cards consolidated before things go even crazy. cards that were 14.99 are now 16.49 and might go to 17.24. This is getting baaaad.

Interest rates are always a two edge sword. For those with any of that stuff called cash in the bank... savings... interest rates are finally going in the right direction. If you're on the credit side of the ledger not so much...

Yes, I have like around 5k in the savings account and im getting around 115 bucks a year in interest, but I might have to bail out my father. Which is not a fun proposition.

Yeah bad timing got me. When I had $300k in the bank, I could barely manage $30/month of interest on the meagre interest rates offered. Now there's more debt and interest rates are rising. :/

I recently saw an ad from Capital One for a "360 Savings" account that gives you interest every month, which may provide something like this.

Many of the online banks are doing around 2% in the USA.
