Not exactly on topic, but hopefully there's some cross-over.

I'm looking for a recommendation on a bitcoin wallet I can run on my local system. I have some bitcoin sitting in Coinbase, and with concerns over third-party crypto sites am looking for something where I have ownership over the bitcoin and the keys.

    Any recommendations?

If you are looking for a hardware wallet, i'd recommend
    https://www.ledger.com/
Depending on how much you want to spend. The Ledger Nano X is the best,
but if you dont need blutooth connectivity for your mobile, the Nano S
Plus is good for a little less $$.

The Software Wallet itself can be the one that ledger.com offers (Ledger
    live)
or every other software that supports the ledger.com hardware for storing
    the keys. For example electrum.org
