• Blocker v2.11

From xqtr@21:1/111 to All on Sat Oct 3 18:04:56 2020
Blocker telnet client, has updated and has some major new functions/abilities.

You can get the source code (GPL3) at:

    https://github.com/xqtr/blocker_bbs_telnet_client

Under the "package" directory, there are two compiled versions, for Raspberry and Linux 64Bit. If someone has a 32Bit system and can compile it, i would be grateful. All source code is included, just install FreePascal and compile it like: ./compile.sh blocker

The highlights of this telnet client are:

    - Runs under a terminal (ex: gnome-terminal). Can also been displayed in UTF8
encoding, with no problems, through the usage of the cp437 util.
    (included).
    - Executes external scripts (two included. Nodefinder and BBS List downloader)
    - Beep sound in systems with ALSA
    - Built in Emoticons (press CTRL-E)... but you can also add other text you
    like.
    - Regular Expression Finder!!! Automatically finds RegExs on the screen and
with the proper configuration, you can use them to launch external
applications. For example if a URL is found, you can launch Firefox or if
there is a Magnet Link, you can open a Torrent download program etc.

For the ultimate 8bit/ANSI/track experience, press F8 ;)

Yes, x86 32bit. For raspberry 32bit is ready. Is there a need for RPi 64b?

Not really; I mean its out there in beta and on unsupported OSes... but heck,
I don't even think theres an ARM 64-Mystic....

I don't use it even tho its available.
