• Updated BINKD.CFG

From Phoobar@21:2/147 to All on Mon May 4 12:13:03 2020
Made some changes to my original BINK.CFG to go from a 5D to a 4D setup.

Do have a question about the paths for the log & the watch file for BINKD.
Will it be better to have \\ than just \?

Thank you to everyone who helped me sort this out.

BINKD threw a fit about this line...so switched it to temp-inbound & it works.

    Same as #1.

BINKD does start up & attempts to poll a hub when I do it manually. Here's my BINKS.LOG:

Yep, dunno where you got that from but get it outa there.. ;)

    temp-inbound is what you want.

I remember that version, that's an oldie but a goodie!

I'm going to plonk BINKD104.ZIP in your inbound at 1:340/1000. Try that maybe?

That's odd.. the above all looks good. I just polled 3:770/1 without issues. I'm going to send you a very upto date binkd in a minute here. You could try that. It's for OS/2. What OS is this running on?

Oh yeah. Compared to some of the ones I've done in the past...I would take
this mistake any day of the week.

Am running this on ArcaOS 5.0.4. Can't believe I got that far & had it work. Thank you...thank you...thank you for letting me know I was successful. I
have to work the next 4 days...but knowing I was close makes me very happy
    that I am close.
