    Hello All,

today I myself ran into the infamous "array index out of bounds (-1)" problem and thus could locate and fix the issue. As this was really pressing and also the wrong default zone (always 2 after setup) was bothering people, I shorthanded decided to provide an update rather than doing what I had originally planned.

I would also like to remind everbody that there is a *new and improved message list view* since version 407 which is *enabled by setting the message pane to "right"* and having the list small enough. See the website for a screenshot.

Hope this helps the folks who had issues.

As usual, the new version is available from

    http://winpoint.org

    Regards,
    Tim

    A false positive, I guess...

Jep. Found no reason to think different. Using the latest build, it magically goes away. Just building a new release so people feel better about installing ;)

Unfortunately, these false positives create a lot of mistrust against developers and products. This has become a major issue over the years and causes a lot of extra work for the developers. Back in my old job, every other release had false positives on some scanner before we made a part of the release process to check on virustotal before and submit the false positives to the vendors or suppress them ourselves by minor changes on whetever. For a hobby project, this is really annoying.

Even more, I have serious doubts about the whole "security" industry and their products, because I think they are largely useless against actual threads.

    Regards,
    Tim

It also detects it on "setup.exe" from the *413.0* release and quarantines
    it on my Win11(22H2) installataion.

    A false positive, I guess...

I managed to get it out of quarantine and execute it and yes, I would say it's another false positive but I thought Tim had fixed this issue ?

Comes up randomly depending on how the internal ZIP file looks like. I hate this ...
