The WINPOINT echo is best served in English, I would think.

The last time I checked he's a prof in one of the universities

Tim is busy doing his daily job like most of us. I have beta 6 of WinPoint almost ready. It will be a fully english only version. Due to switching to a new compiler version, we will list what issues still need to be addressed and keep addressing them. Cleaning up components used and working to get it to compile for 64 bit as well.

Once it is ready, will place it up on www.intermail.net site under downloads.

He stopped development for WinPoint back in 2007, last beta was Beta 5. I was able to talk with him and allow me to work with him and update the app and get it out there again.

At the moment I am the one working on it and Tim jumps in when he can but he does have a demanding job. I am sure he will drop in from time to time.

Beta 5 is what you are using from 2007. Beta 6 which is coming has a few of the following fixes and updates:

    Compiler Updated
    Viewing messages Updated
    Made English only (for now)
Replaced a number of outdated components (more to come) Correct issues we find.

    In the works:

Update the code to work in the latest unicode compiler 64 bit support

Of course. We already have the 32bit and will have 64 bit once I get past a few bumps.

Does this mean that you won't be releasing the new 32-Bit version until the 64-Bit version is ready?

Not at all. 32 bit works for the most part. Just getting it to be 100% english and updating the CHM file as well.

It will be released as 32 bit. At some point we will have both 32 and 64 bit with each release.

    Back in active development
Using newer compiler so new features can be added
