    Howdy!

I made a Search on DuckDuckGo for the PS/2 Connector by only entering
    PS/2 .

The Results List only showed Playstation 2 links.

I can't figure out how to do a Search using a NOT to filter out unwanted results showing in the list.

Can it be done when using a Search Engine?

Another Site I often use Search at is Wikipedia, I also would like to learn
how to use NOT in Searches there, if it can be done.

    Thank You!

it depends on the engine... the ones i use remove results with the minus so i'd probably search for

    "ps/2" -playstation

i'd use the double quotes like that to keep those pieces together because a lot of engines remove symbols and special characters so searching for "ps/2" is actually a search for the sequence "ps 2"...

but you probably should refine your search terms to be more specific... are you looking for male ps/2 or female ps/2?

    male "ps/2" keyboard connector

    male "ps/2" mouse connector

    or

"male DIN" to "ps/2 female" connector

    or

"female USB" to "ps/2 female" adaptor

and with all of those, if playstation kept coming up, i'd add "-playstation" to them without the quotes...
