    It's reported to be but also looks like it's visually in the JJ
    line... who knows time will tell.

    It will be the original timeline, what we call now "Prime Universe".

    However, the "look-and-feel" will be upgraded, and they are facing the same critics that the Enterprise producers faced. But then again, we are at the
    second decade of the 21st century, we simply can't go back to the 1960's look-and-feel :)

    I thought some of the fan films that captured the old look and feel
    worked quite well.

    The "Star Trek Continues" folks do very well with TOS. They're on YouTube.
    The sets are exactly like TOS....even the guy playing Capt. Kirk kinda favors him a little.

    Have heard a lot about Star Trek Continues, Axanar, Starship Republic and
    Renegades, but never seen any of them.

    Did Axanar ever get off the ground? Last I heard there was an issue with
