Haven't watched it since the free premiere. Don't like the aesthetics, and I'd rather have seen Axanar and the other fan productions that Paramount has essentially killed off with their new fan film guidelines.

Axanar looked and felt like the prequel I wanted, not another reboot/retell like Discovery.

I That's up to the point I saw it, I thought it had SOME promise, but I haven't kept up on it.

That sucks! I was hoping to get some good news about it. I was almost willing to PAY to see it, since how CBS only lets you see it on that 'all-access' thing. TV has gotten gready. How are they gonna make you pay for something they show on the airwaves.

Maybe they will eventually come out with SOMEthing good for us. I'm dying for something new! I LOVED deep space 9. One of my favorites

The idea of a continuation is interesting, after all of the reboots
and prequels. The new Picard show has promise, a post-dominion DS9
could have a lot of promise, but I wish Captain Sisko didn't go off
    with the prophets.

The DS9 cast is getting a bit long in the tooth, I would have liked a
Titan spinoff with Captain Riker, but that ship has sailed.

I even missed the free premier. I wasn't sure when it was on and I had
no plans to pay CBS to watch it. If it ever comes to Netflix, I may
watch it. There are too many choices to pay for them all. I already
watch a ton of Netflix content, including the other Star Trek series (Several times, in fact)

I've enjoyed rewatching them, especially the re-mastered TOS episodes,
with all of the content cut out when it ran in re-runs. Appaently they
cut a few minutes from each episode to make room for more commercials
when they went into reruns, so there's scenes that I'd never seen,
despite watching each episode dozens of times.

There's a podcast called "The Greatest Generation" ("A star Trek
Podcast by two guys a little embarrased to have a Star Trek Podcast")
that's been hilarious. They dissect one TNG episode each podcast, and
have worked through all of TNG and are now onto DS9.

... Would you like to wake up from this dream?

New Picard show? I'll have to look that one up, He is one of MY favorite Characters. I'd like a show even showing the dominion side, like a parellel show to DS9. There's different planets that was never really explored in the shows, but you know they have a rich history.

Yeah, it was cool at first, when TNF cast split into other shows, but it's time to kill that idea.

I came across a star trek fan magazine online. It's really
good, reminds me of the good old days with conventions and
    clubs. Have a look-

    ussexcelsiorbbs.com/Fan-Zine/

    its in pdf format

Ah - how great were the days of fanzines sent through the post. Handwritten
or dot matrix-printed home stapled affairs. I used to be quite into indy
music and it seemed every band of note and at least a few diehard hands publishing competing fanzines.

    Maybe I should start one!
