This one seems long for a tagline from a recent post:

"Give a man a fish, and he is fed for a day. ˙Show him how to fish, and he is fed for his life?
    ?
reality check... ˙ nope, not there."

....and it had a line-break as above. Was that all supposed to be one sentence or two?

Btw, I thought taglines were officially what would fit in 79 chars including the 5 spaces used in " --- ".

    August,

Btw, I thought taglines were officially what would fit in 79 chars including the 5 spaces used in " --- ".

When I set the program up with the Today In History deal, I was
limited to 70 characters per line, but of that, 10 characters at
the start of the line were control characters, so the program would
know what date to show on it. It'd look like this...

S12122019 This entry was set to display on December 12, 2019. If you S12122019Chad more than one line, the C after the date meant that S12122019Cthere was more than on entry on the line for that date.

I don't have the documentation in front of me, but you could also
do it without the year...and just have the blank spaces. Then, the
entry would show up on that day, but not the year...that's what I do
with some of my other deals...like Random Quotes and Burma Shave ads.
You can also set it up for birthdays and other things.

There wasn't an actual deal in the program that said "Registered To:"
or "Unregistered", but a shareware donation was encouraged (I did such).

Now, MultiMail allows for longer taglines than OLX did...plus you
can edit messages with Windows Notepad (I'm not sure if a version is
made for Mac or Linux or not).
