From Thomas Bampi@2:333/808 to All on Tue Feb 4 12:53:15 2020
    Hello All!

after a few hours of work I managed to create a point system via the web (your browser must load HTML5 pages) without the user configuring the various software to access the system!

The Point Web system of Veleno BBS will allow you to read, write, reply, etc ... in the various echo areas and also in netmail without you having to go crazy to configure any type of software.
A menu will help you to add, remove, rescan areas in a fully automatic mode SIMPLY USING YOUR INTERNET BROWSER THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING TO NAVIGATE.

If you want more information or if you want to try this innovative system, just
leave me a netmail at 2: 333 / 808.1 (Thomas Bampi) or an email to krueger@velenobbs.net

Unless you have immigrated to America recently, who freaking
    cares.

All of the above have WORLD WIDE destabilizing effects.

And what exactly do you want the less-a-dozen-or-so active
participants on a silly message hobby that only a fraction of the
world uses anymore to do about it, in a general SYSOP chat echo?

You stated who cares if you are not immigrated to the USA.
I pointed out that there ARE major implications that affect the whole world.

I never imposed that the members of the sysop area can do much.
Except for those that ARE eligible to vote in the US to turn their brain on BEFORE voting.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a chat echo where we do not care about
Trump for one minute of the day and actually talk about, oh gee I
    dunno, anything else?

As long as his politics has massive impact world wide, I think that that is unlikely to happen.

I for one have an issue at work that the US banned one of our suppliers from firmware updates.
That is a GREAT idea to reduce the levels of security worldwide (including the US!!!)
Blackhats are thanking Trump for that!

For the books ... I do not imply that you are stupid, and I was generally very curious of how your "I like Trump" was meant (his personality, his politics, his views, ...).

    No thanx.
I have read much about a certain type of Trump supporters. (mostly outside fidonet)
But what I know about you (which is not that much to be honest) you do not check those boxes in my head.
So I was generally interested in how you meant your comment.

But as you are not willing to write about that, I will end the discussion here, and my curiosity will not be quenched - I can live with that.

Its not a touchy topic for me, but it is for you and countless others. Your original comment was based on the premise that Trump affects the world in a negative way. Any explanation of my liking will only fuel the fires you have already burned in your mind. And as I stated now a few times, I don't care to engage or participate.
