I attempted to check my node log this morning using ;nlog but it only flashed on the screen briefly and was gone. Do I possibly have something set wrong?

The ;nlog sysop command executes the 'slog' utility. Do you have this utility in your exec directory? Does running it manually work for you?

When I tried to run it manually, I get what actually appeared on the screen briefly. I just expected it would stay there until I dismnissed it.

Okay, I can play with novice (non-expert) menu mode and see if I can make the experience better.

Hmmmm.... mine works as expected, without being in expert mode. Are we confusing non-expert mode with the "simple" command shell?

No, I think this was a change in behavior with default.js versus default.src/bin. I'm guess you're using default.bin while Greg is using (the new) default.js instead.

Ahhh, yep, OK. I'm using a customized version of default.bin (in ../mods),
and I guess I didn't even know there was a .js version of the shell now.

Is the .js version now the default on a new install? If one wants to
use a .bin version does it have to be in ../mods?
