• Bink Timeout

    From Glenn Rossi@1:275/301 to Fidonet.SYNCHRONET on Thu Aug 29 13:56:14 2024
When polling my Fido feed, I can only get one file perl poll. Each pool
ends after transfering one file with:

BINKPOLL Timed out receiving packet data from remote:

I edited binkp.js and tripled the this.timeout setting to no effect.

    Anybody have some tips, please?

Running Synchronet 3.16 on Windows 64.

Upgrade to at least Synchronet v3.19 and see if that fixes it?

Or if you want to do that, at least upgrade your versions of binkp.js and binkit.js, though it's possible they won't work with a version of Synchronet that old.

I did upgrade the .js files, and that did seem to fix things. Thanks.
